Ramon Garcia

2nd Pre-Theology

Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary, Overbrook

Ordination Date: 2015

Birth Date: December 9

Home Parish: Holy Cross Parish (Durham, NC)

High School: Bristol Eastern High School (Connecticut)

College: University of Connecticut, University of North Carolina Chapel Hill

Hobbies: Exercising, watching EWTN, reading spiritual books and mixed martial arts

Who Influenced/Inspired you to Priesthood: My parents and the example of holy priests

What would you say to a young many who thinks he may have a vocation: Sincerely confront your vocation otherwise you will never have peace.  Listen, in silence, to what God wants you to do.  Ask God for confirmation or a sign to reaffirm your vocation.

Favorite Scripture Passage: Mark 9:24, Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!  Because it describes me perfectly

Favorite Saint: For me its a tie between two saints:

1) St. Ignatius of Loyola because of his keen insight to discerning spirits and his spiritual exercises.

2) St Joseph Cupertino. Since he is the patron saint of thesis/test takers. Also, he could levitate which is pretty cool.

Anything else of note you would like to share with the Diocese: Please pray for all those discerning a religious vocation, and our Priests, Bishop and Pope.
