Who Influenced/Inspired you to Priesthood: A few good priests, one being Fr. Tighe.

What would you say to a young man who thinks he may have a vocation: Stay close to our Lord in the Most Blessed Sacrament. Pray daily before the tabernacle and implore the Lord for guidance. Also get a spiritual director and discern entering the seminary.

Favorite Scripture Passage: Matthew 26:26-28. “Hoc est corpus meum…Hic est enim sanguis meus” Which translates: “This is my body…For this is my blood” (RSV) This is one of my favorite scripture passages. These are the sacred words of institution where the priest at Mass, in persona Christi, transubstantiates our imperfect sacrifice of bread and wine into the perfect sacrifice, the body and blood of our Lord Jesus. I am in awe when I hear these words at Mass and I adore as the priest elevates the sacred body and blood of our Lord. Knowing that I too may one day be saying these sacred words.

Favorite Saint: St. Joseph: St. Joseph is my patron saint that I chose at conformation. He has been a powerful intercessor in my life as well as in the life of the Church. He is a great model for us in the spiritual life and has a powerful intercession as the head of the Holy Family. He also receives the honor of protodulia making him the highest among angels and saints next to Mary. I love the St. Joseph Novena and recognize a special connection with him.

-Holy St. Joseph, pray that we persevere to the end and have a happy death, Amen.

Anything else of note you would like to share with the Diocese: I look forward, God willing, to ordination this year.
